Terrible year to try a garden

I don't take it personally, but in the PNW this has been the summer that wasn't. and my attempt at a garden has been pretty mediocre due to the total lack of sunny days.  In spite of all that, I have seen some growth there in the back and may actually get some green beans before snow starts to fall.

Oh, I know this problem too well...
I hope your garden will thrive soon!

  5. I've had the opposite problem, my garden is always in danger of drying out.

  6. Unlucky with your garden, maybe you'll have to wait until next year =(

Maybe we'll have better luck with the weather then!

  8. Don't blame yourself. I have three potted plants, and all of them are dying.

Did i mention that they are POTTED PLANTS?

...You're doing very well in comparison.

  10. Good luck, I hope you get some green beans. I've got a garden in my bathroom. Drug dealer style.

I'm not kidding... I used the same technology marijuana growers use, and it works wonders. I was sick of my plants dying in the winter so I got some LED grow lights, hung them in a spare bathroom that no one uses (there's no tub and I removed the toilet so it just looks like a regular, half sized room) and it supports 12 full sized pots -- I've got tomatoes, jalapenos, bell peppers, pumpkins, japanese eggplant, strawberries, and I'm starting a grape vine. Love my little indoor garden.

  15. My garden suffers from too much sun & not enough water. If only there was a way to swap this out to create a balance...
