The wayback machine proves quite useful

I saw a posting in the gigs section about exporting video from a Motorola DVR, and was interested in how you would do it (I rock the media center so of low value to me). I did a google search and found this article that points to a different article that is no longer online. Fire up the wayback machine and viola.


Essentially you need to get the following products and you can use the firewire on the Motorola to "record" the video and audio out of the DVR

Fire Record
Mpeg Stream Clip
Apple Quicktime Mpeg2 component
