Living Room Project

My living room has been a disaster for much longer than I'm ready to admit, so as our debt diet comes to a close I have been dreaming of a way to reduce the clutter and get my home ready for a soon to be mobile infant.

There are two ikeahackers projects that have my eye as the inspiration for how I want my room to look.  The first is a solid wall of bookcase and the second is a way to conceal stuff in that bookcase.  Here are some pictures for reference.





What do you think? It's in concept state at this point, I'm just trying out ideas, but I like the clean look of a wall to wall with a mounted TV above it.
